I have been using Airtel phone no. [protected] for a long time. Last friday i.e. 17. 12. 2021, I came to know that Vodafone Idea has issued the same phone number to another person.
I am facing a lot of hardship due to loss of continuous flow of information at a critical moment in my business. All my business and bank accounts are tied up to this phone number. I am unable to do my day to day operations properly since some calls are diverted to the other subscriber.
I would like you to take this utmost seriously.
I have filed complaint with my Service provider Airtel on 17.12.2021 at 15:44Hours with no.[protected]. I have sent an email to Airtel Nodal officer on 18.12.2021, to no avail. I have received an email from Airtel NODAL Officer on 21.12.2021 that they require 24-48 Hours to look into the matter.
I have also emailed CC copy of my complaint to [protected]@trai.gov.in .
I am enclosing my Airtel bill copy, Vodafone Idea subscriber details.
Please restore my services and punish the person responsible for issuing same phone number to two subscribers from different service providers.
