Even I have been cheated. They are tracking people who are shopping or buying a new car. Then they will call you saying that since you purchased from xyz showrrom you are entitled to a promotion offer and scam you.
Many of the victims wait patiently or dont take an action that is why they are getting away.

Even I got such a call where they say its on first come first serve basis and only 20 customer

Looks pretty lame and fake to me.
