[Resolved]  Tvs Motor Company — Service Center personnel's unethical behaviour/letting amateurs work on my new bike.

Dear Team, I have purchased STAR CITY + reg no. {AP05DA 6254 }on 19th February 2015 {This year} at SWOBHAGYA AUTOMOBILES, KAKINADA and although my bike is still fine, the digital meter showed improper performance and suspecting it must be a manufacturing defect, i mentioned this to the mechanic during my 1st Service and since he kept on making excuses, i contacted Manager and he seemed to cooperate at the beginning but the problem continued to exist. They asked me to wait for the month's end and they assured me that if their Dean {who Will visit every month's end} found complaint, they would replace it with new one. The day finally arrived a guy named "Govind Raj" inspected mine and suggested to change fuel guages and despite me saying that they did that the previous time, they changed and it still didn't work, he on his way out told manager in front of me to take good care of me and to replace the meter if the problem existed and he requested to wait for a couple of days so to make sure that the meter was displaying perfectly and it did not. From that day on, when ever i find free time, i would visit Service Center, and the manager would give me some insane excuses and vexed i was, i lost my temper and threatened to sue them and the other guy {seemed Manager} lodged entire unit of Digital meter in front of me and requested me to wait for 7 - 10 Days Maximum and i was disappointed as they did not contact me even after 10 Days and with frustration, i went to them and they looked at my order number and they said that my order was in "Withheld". I contacted MR.SHARIF {The owner} for the first time and he was the only person who seemed to cooperate with me and since i had to explain everything about what happened in front of Manager, he asked me to come next day by 9am and he would replace it immediately. I arrived by 10:30am and i was shocked by the manager's excuse this time. He even said that the customers are supposed to come half an hour early before the given time by them and this time too i did not return home with satisfying results. He even said that he doesn't mind and asked me to go ahead if i want to take legal action. I felt ashamed and returned home disappointed once again. They placed order at first and this time, their solution was they started working on my old meter taking suggestions on phones even though they showed me a bill with my request no. on it. To ensure that this meter got fixed they wanted to test it and in order to do so, my bike's fuel needed to be full and having no choice and expecting impossible to happen, i borrowed 500rupees from my friend who was present this whole time and right after filling fuel, my problem showed perfectly, the meter didn't indicate a single rise even though the tank was completely full and about to explode but they still worked on my old meter and they finally said it got fixed. I was speechless and i only wrote that report as my friends insisted that i had to continue with their services for the next 5 years. 2)Right after my second service, the technician took me for a test drive to note my mileage and in this process he took tubes or something and we both tested and the very next day, my bike didn't start in the middle of nowhere and i was left helplessly as it was morning and i didn't bring any money or even my mobile phone and this happened right after my 2nd free Service. I also mentioned to Customer Care of TVS on my 2nd Review. since i wasn't getting any respect there, i contacted MR.SHARIF once again and mentioned about the mental torture i had experienced the other day and requested him to help me get out of their care and to ensure me to a nearest Service center and i also said that i don't mind to travel 20 kms for the nearest TVS Service Center. He took me to his cabin and spoke fondly and since he asked me for one last chance and seemed sincere, even though, i thought, it was a waste of time, i accepted his proposal. I still didn't receive any call from them and so i called them at 7pm{closing time}and the manager spoke to me and said that they kept my bike in observation and will probably be fixed by next day's evening. They called me the next day and when i asked if it got fixed they said that the digital meter case needs to be changed and that i had to come there to speak. I went there with my friend and they fixed a demo bikes meter and asked me to check it. I went the next day to their office and requested for MR.SHARIF and since he was not feeling well, i spoke with the next guy and talking with him, i felt so sorry for my decision to buy this particular bike at this particular Service center. I didn't receive my extended 5 years warrenty still. I only came to know about this, when they asked me to show warrenty. I mean there is no receipt that i paid for insurance, Registration, Extended Warrenty, all i had was the price 56, 400/- My Resolution would be to show me a way to get out of this insane service center and to help me switch to another show room who treats their customers with respect and doesn't say that their firm will be fine even if i didn't purchase with them. My verdict is " I will still buy another TVS STAR CITY PLUS but continuing with Sowbhagya TVS Service Center - are you kidding.. I do not care for the extended warrenty as i am sure how its going to end if something actually happened to my bike couple of years later too and i am not willing to take the chance as last night they changed my meter to old meter on my request as i showed no interest on using a third hand meter after paying them in cash. I had to wait 2 and half hours for them to fix my old meter and finally after they changed the meter and on my way home the head lights stopped working. I had to call the mechanic again and return back to that service center with no light at all. i used to look and laugh at people who faced this problem and this time i know how they felt and all thanks to sowbhagya. Please resolute me by kicking me out of their Service and hand me to someone as mentioned above. Please note that i am not a mechanic and if they installed a demo meter and asked me to check, i am sorry. Shouldn't they asked for the expert's assistance, if they couldn't find the fault. I couldn't sleep because of these reasons as i trusted TVS Warrenty and bought right away even without consulting a mechanic, before buying this vehicle, as they said pay once and stay unworried for the next 5 years and its our 5 year guarentee. I think it will be a Miracle if this warrenty works for even one customer.

The TVS Authorized persons contacted me via phone as i send the customer care a mail and they registered a complaint and after providing them with every proof they contacted me and replaced my old digital meter with new one and the issue was resolved. It gave me hope after looking complaints at this site that i am not alone and people like me who doesn't want to get involved in any kind of legal troubles, this is the best i have come with. I have given my tvs vehicle for service and the parts amount is 925 and the Labour they are charging 1540 why they are charging too much already they have mention 649 as Labour and for Fitting the parts they are again asking Labour charge and service is totally waste I asked the incharge in the office what is the difference between you and privite garage so he said you should have been left they only why did you come here
