[Resolved]  Union Bank Of India — Request for reversal of Amounts due to the wrong UPI Transaction

Dear Sir,
I am an account holder in the Union Bank of India branch at Ground Floor, 287 Tarun Enclave, Deepli Chowk, Pitampura, Delhi - 110034. My name is Santosh Chandra and my savings account is- [protected]. I wish to inform you that "on 8th April 2023 at 9:02 AM" I was transferring an amount of Rs. 4000/- (Rupees Four Thousand only) was transferred to the wrong UPI account number for which I have already lodged a complaint with Union Bank of India Customer care department. The UPI transaction ID is-“[protected]@paytm” and “UPI Ref No[protected]”.
Today it's almost 2 months and 9 days has been passed but unfortunately till now my complaint is not resolved. I was continuously giving information about this matter to the Union Bank of India customer care department since the month of 8th April 2023 and 10th April 2023. At first, they told me that it is okay, and action is being taken on this in this case, it takes a lot of time and when there was no response to my complaint for a month, I again filed a complaint in the month of May 13th, 2023. Whose complaint number is as follows- [protected]”. Even after registering the complaint again on[protected], your department was telling me that action will be taken soon on this matter. And soon I will get a positive reply but when in the last 1 month and 16 days the customer department did not respond to my complaint, then I again spoke to the customer department. They told me that registering a complaint here (in the customer care department) will not help, I will have to go to the branch and get the complaint registered there. When I told the customer care executive then why were you and your customer care department joking with me for the last 1 month and 16 days? Would have told me on the same day that I would have to complain to the branch but you didn't tell me anything like that. Perhaps if I had gone to the branch and lodged a complaint, my money would have been returned by now. I also submitted the complaint form to the branch on[protected]. Whose copy I am also sharing emails and other documents with the Bank department.
Today It's been more than 2 months and 11 days since I complained about the wrongful UPI payments but I don't think the Bank department has taken cognizance in this matter yet. Because even after registering a complaint with The Bank customer care center, no action was taken on my request for one month, after that I was told that the complaint will have to be submitted to the branch only after that it will be processed. The thing to think is that if the Bank department had taken action on my complaint on 8th April 2023, my money would have been returned to my account by now, but this was not done. The Bank department completely ignored my complaint due to which I am facing a loss. When I had informed the Bank about this in the bank, why didn't The Bank take action on this matter? And why hasn't my money been refunded yet? This matter may not be serious for The Bank, but it is very admittable for me because I belong to a normal family so 4000/- is a huge amount for me.
You are informed that now it will have to be paid by the bank (Union Bank of India) because even after my complaint, the matter remains the same. I request you to please help me to reverse this amount of Rs. 4000/- as soon as possible. I request you once to please help me to reverse this amount as soon as possible. Waiting for your positive response and resolution.

Respected Sir/ Mam, This is the reference to your Grievance Remark dated[protected]:49:15 regarding my Request for the reversal of Amounts due to the wrong UPI Transaction. I received your response uploaded by company file and when I read that remark letter I saw that my request has been rejected due to the customer is not accessible for obtaining debit confirmation. Sir, I have been complaining since the beginning that the payment has been transferred to the wrong beneficiary, but Union Bank completely ignored my complaint. Union Bank cheated me for 1 month and 16 days. I was given the wrong information by the customer care department o[censored]nion Bank of India due to which there was a delay in filing my complaint at the branch. Union Bank has given permission on[protected] on my complaint, now you tell me whose fault is it? If the bank had approved my complaint in the month of April itself, my money would have been returned by now, but it did not happen. Now I don't know anything. I want my money back. The bank has done wrong to me, the bank will have to pay for it. I have faith in you (Ministry of Consumer Affairs Grievance), you will get me justice. If I don't get a solution even from your website at Ministry of Consumer Affairs Grievance then I will complain in court. Dear Sir/Mam, You are informed that now it will have to be paid by the bank (Union Bank of India) because even after my complaint, the matter ware remains the same. I request you to please help me to reverse this amount of Rs. 4000/- as soon as possible.
