UP Police — Asking bribe to clear police verification for passport

Dear sir,

I wrote the same given below to feedback and grievance section of passport seva website:

I got a call form police station on feb - 9 from police officer name:- umesh yadav, he asked me to come police station along with one residence certificate signed and sealed by gram pradhan. i visited there on sunday feb 11 along with my gram pradhan, after all the formalities he asked me 2000 rupee bribe, i denied to pay any money, he said the work would not be done without this payment, again he called me on 13th and asked me the same. status of my passport is still pending on police verification. kindly do needful and let me know for further action.

And got the response of my service request '[protected]', which i was not expecting and they close my request with resolution given below:

"police verification report is awaited. you may pursue with police authorities.

Hope we have been able to address your concern with satisfaction."

I wrote mail to sp and vigilance cell but no response. kindly help me.
