I had enrolled in a course offered by Upgrad by paying a block amount of Rs 25, 000 on 29th of October. By 4th of November I had applied for a refund through my counsellor, I was told that the refund request has been set up and that I'll be receiving my refund within 15 days. Later on I was called by the Upgrad team and was told I'll be charged Rs 10, 000 since Im getting a refund and that ill only receive Rs 15, 000. I was told that I had received an offer letter on that the Date of joining stating the refund terms. I told him that the offer letter I received had nothing as such mentioned in it, he told me that he will talk to the refund team and check into my case. The very next day I receive ANOTHER offer letter which has the terms and conditions. This is a very clear case of fraud. Till this date (7th December 2021) I'm unable to get any updates for my refund and I feel like its stuck with this company. I have all the proofs, details, name of the people I was in contact with, the mails Everything. Id like to request a full refund of my block amount of Rs 25, 000 ASAP.
