[Resolved]  Varsha Travels — Worst bus and rude staff

We booked this bus(KA01C 3319) through redbus from Bangalore to Goa on[protected]. While booking we paid 1600 per person for a VOLVO AC Semi Seater. When the bus arrived at our pick up point we were surprised to see a old worn out bus. when asked the driver, he said its a pick up bus and they will be changing the bus at their office in ananda rao circle. on collecting the boarding passes from their office we were told the bus which had picked us was the bus in which we will travel to goa. we questioned them that we had booked a volvo bus and this bus was not in condition to travel.The driver, cleaner and their other staff were very rude and they were like 'if you want you travel by this bus else get out of the bus'.The driver wasnt ready to switch on the AC.The bus dint have any indicators at the back. It was so dirty and stinky.The driver was very harsh in his driving and we never thought we will reach goa safely. when we reached goa checkpost, to our utter surprise we got to know that they did not have proper documents of the vehicle nor did the driver had a driving license.The cleaner and driver were begging the checkpost officials to let them go.when they were asked to pay 11000rs for renewal of their permit, they dint even have cash. he made someone to speak to the officer over a call and finally moved the bus after 1.5 hours at the checkpost. he was caught again at the next checkpost and had to borrow 100rs from a passenger to pay the police. we were supposed to reach Panjim by 9AM but it was 2PM when to our utter dismay the bus broke down in Madgaon. The driver and cleaner told diesel was empty and dint speak a single word on how we could reach Panjim now.when the bus stopped we saw localities rushing towards the bus as they saw thick smoke coming from behind the bus. The bus would have burned down if he dint stop the engine. we had to make our own taxi to reach Panjim paying 1500 rs. can we bring this to the notice of someone to cancel their permit to run these private buses who cheat passengers by charging more than any other bus but offer worst service. they are very rude and kept speaking bad words if we asked them anything. anyone please do something to stop these buses from killing passengers someday. Isnt the Govt concerned about such private buses even after the two bus burn down incidents that happened few months ago??? Redbus people are also ok with the service such travels offer through them?
