[Resolved]  Vodafone — Active Number Blocked without Notice

I have been using a Vodafone Number [protected] since May 2013. The number was taken against an Aadhar Card as a photo identity and address proof. Also note that the number has been in use ever since for making calls / internet usage/ SMS everyday and also recharged regularly. However on the 30th June 2014 at around 10:00 PM the number was discoonected from Vodafone's end. On talking to a customer care executive (Tejas from Vodafone) I got to know " number is been churned due to non usage". On visiting the Vodafone Store at Park Street, Kolkata - 700016, a Vodafone Executive (Agniva Ganguly ) told me that the number was disconnected on the basis that the photo in the Aadhar Card was not clear and so it was treated as not valid. The Aadhar Card is a government document and if the photo on it is not clear it is in no way the fault of the consumer. But still Vodafone went and penalized the customer without any fault of theirs. Due to this action of Vodafone I had to miss some very vital phone calls that created a havoc in the organization, where I am employed and brought my job to jeopardy. I feel Vodafone should compensate for all the stress and harassment that I had to face.

The number has been made active but however the active plans present have not been done.

1. SMS Pack - 38 - recharged on[protected] and valid till[protected]
2. Data Pack - 147 - recharged on[protected] and valid till[protected]

Both the above plans were recharged via Netbanking. (Attached is the bank mini statement)
Also The active plans are shown in the Vodafone website (snapshot attached)
