Vodafone India — aadhar linkage when user can not visit vodafone center | |||
My father has a Vodafone prepaid number from Mumbai Circle. He has shifted to Pune and does not have any plans to go back to Mumbai. Moreover he now does not go out of the house due to old age. As a result he cannot visit any Vodafone Center to do Aadhar verification despite he has Aadhar number. Please propose a workable solution to this situation how he can go about doing the aadhar verification in Pune and retain the number. We are ready to port the number to Pune circle and get it transferred to my name so that I can do my Aadhar verification to that number. I (His son) am also residing in Pune. The constraint is that he won’t be able to visit any Vodafone Center now. He can give a letter of authority if required, signed by him and I don’t have any plans to travel to Mumbai. The procedure should be entirely completed at Pune itself. I can make visits to Vodafone Centers in Pune to take care of suggested solution. Please propose a workable solution to this situation and document it in the reply comments so that we can refer to that and follow it to retain the number properly as required by the aadhar linkage e-KYC initiative of the Government. Representatives from consumercomplaints, please forward this to Vodafone. After Vodafone proposes a workable solution to this situation within the mentioned constraints, and documents it in comments on this site, I shall mark it as Resolved. Thanks.
