Vodafone India — Disconnection of services without prior notification | |||
I have been using Vodafone postpaid for the last five years and today (27/11) my outgoing call service and data services were suddenly deactivated because of rejected verification. I had shifted to Hyderabad from Kolkata recently and had to change my network. I had to provide a temporary hotel address to the store and during verification purposes I told that I have stayed at the hotel and then I have moved to my present address. This somehow led him to believe that the verification is not correct (but he did not say anything), before suspension the verifier could have asked me for invoices of the hotel, instead no intimation was provided whatsoever. I was advised that it is going to take 2 days before services are resumed, is this the professionalism you show to your long term Vodafone customers? What am I supposed to do if I have to make a critical call? This is absolutely pathetic and most unprofessional behavior towards a customer from a mobile service provider of Vodafone's stature.
