I have been facing issues with vodafone network since past 4 months (Or maybe more) and planned to port out my mobile number from vodafone to airtel. I successfully completed the documentation related work with airtel and was waiting for the process of porting to complete. Meanwhile, on the very first day, i received a fake call from vodafone but the caller actually pretended to be a representative of airtel, he told me that they (Airtel) are unable to proceed further as vodafone declining to port out because the customer has requested the cancellation. However, i did not talk to any vf rep or requested for any cancellation. This fake caller told me to cancel the current porting request and then generate a new porting request after 2-3 days. He asked me to send the text "stop mnp" to [protected] and share the request number with him. That guy won my trust and i believed in whatever he told me to do. I canceled the porting request under the impression that i am talking to a real agent from airtel.
I just wanted to bring your kind attention towards the unfair and unethical business tricks being performed by vf. I received this call from [protected] Was this information helpful? |
