Vodafone India — incorrect charges for the plan i never opted and neglected resolution.

* i am a vodafone postpaid customer. I had opted for international roaming plan of 149 (Approx)
* i only had opted for receiving otp codes as the indian no is linked will all my banking services.
* first initial months worked fine and i used to get a bill of 900 rs/month approx which was as expected until on one occasion i got a bill of more than 3000 rs/month
* on liaising with customer care i found that they activated a larger pack for international roaming, without my consent. And emailed me the following details below :



Hello mr. Rana,
This is with reference to your concern raised vi twitter for your vodafone number [protected].

We have checked bill dated 15/10/17 and found that charges of rs. 1500/- levied towards auto international roaming pack. Said pack has been activated for cited number on 29/08/17. Once any user availed international roaming service with rental of rs. 149/-, our team tried to contact you to provide roaming pack available with us.

Since, we were unable to connect auto roaming pack has been activated for your number [protected] on 29/08/17.in said pack, if any usage found initiated rental of rs. 500/- charged and benefit can be availed for next 24 hours. Basis usage while in international roaming, you have been charges accordingly and we are unable to waive off these charges.
Adjustment of rs. 118/- (Including service tax) towards late payment charges has been processed on 17/11/17. Post mentioned adjustment, there is an outstanding of rs. 3021.49/-. We request you to clear the same to avail uninterrupted services.

* as per the above email i agreed for international roaming of 149, i did not give them any authority for a roaming pack

* in the second paragraph of the email they referencing a no [protected] which is not even mine

* it is clearly visible and evident as per the email that they enabled a higher roaming pack without my consent and mixing this with someone else no

* i flagged this issue since november 2 - 2017 since then my services are barred and after repeated requests, this issue has not at all been addressed. It's been more than a month and they only have one standard reply "our team is looking into it and will contact you asap" but no real action to resolve or even address the issue

Expected outcome :

* i would expect the charges to be corrected for that specific month.
* i should not be charged for any services after 2nd of november as my services are barred since then.
* i would want to settle the account as am not at all satisfied with the service provided by vodafone.
* and would demand a strong action against the telco which first slapped unauthorized bills then stopping the service and not addressing the issue at all.
