Vodafone India — Number deactivated without intimation.

Hi, I have a vodafone number it is my Chennai number, I currently live in Hyderabad, I am using it since 2012 till present, I was taking calls and receiving messages, but my number got deactivated due non usage of number with out intimation. I want my number to be activated and it is my priority. I had contacted vodafone store in hyderabad they told to go to Chennai and submit proof for activation, when I called to Chennai vodafone store they told I can submit my proof in Hyderabad and when I visited in Hyderabad they again told to submit proof in Chennai. Is this a joke, I cannot go to Chennai now, I need my number to be activated.
