Vodafone India — overbilling for [protected] | |
Second complaint: on receiving the monthly bill of my post-paid mobile connection [protected] with vodafone, i note with utter surprise that i have been billed rs 93, 099/ for international roaming. I have an auto-activated international roaming package for 500 rs per day. I had traveled to africa from 2nd to 5th nov, 2017. Despite that i have been billed as detailed. Whilst i was in africa, i never received any message or warning to suggest that i am being charged extra for the same. On 4th nov, i received a message saying i have been over my credit limit of 14, 000 rs and my connection was disabled. I could do little sitting in africa. On return to india, i spoke and wrote to vodafone complaining about the disconnection. This was promptly restored without any mention about bills. But now i have been presented with this shocker. My queries are as follows: 1) if my credit limit is rs14, 000/, how have i been billed rs 93, 099? 2) if this was not covered by the international roaming package, why was i not informed? 3) why has my connection been blocked?
