She has also sent mails to nodal center for Kolkata with a copy to your escalation id which might have slipped your notice earlier. I hope, being the highest escalation point for Kolkata region you will be able to help her get the issue resolved without any further delay. The below mail might seem rude but then I am sure you would appreciate the fact that after one month of followup and conflicting responses from your associates ones' patience is bound to run thin. I had deposited Rs 3000/- with Vodafone Store located at Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata on mid-Feb 2015, as a requirement to activate IR. at that time, I specifically clarified with them whether I may get the refund (upon deactivation of IR services) in cheuqe, which, the customer care executive confirmed. This was imp. for me to know since I have a corporate reimbursement from my workplace, and settling this amount against my monthly bill would have been difficult. Thereafter, I visited the store in March 6, 2015 and asked for my refund. Initially they said its not possible to refund in chq, but when I reminded them about their promise at the time of taking the money, they agreed (having confirmed from branch head over phone) and asked me to make an application; which I did. they also asked me to make payment of the current cycle bill which also I made atleast 20 days back. Since then I have visited the store twice, called customer care innumerable times (Service regn No: [protected]), but in vain, as still today, neither have I got my money back, nor a simple communication on the status. Once I got a call from Customer care asking me to wait till the problem is resolved, some 2 weeks back. (wait: meaning they having no idea till when). Its sad and pathetic that a Co. like yours doesn't take a minute to take money from us, but when it comes to returning, it takes a lifetime! I am surely going to change to a different service provider, as I am completely fed up with your "happy to help" idea, which is harassing and misleading customers by your incompetent staff.
