Vodafone India — sim temporarily out of service

I have a vodafone sim, number- [protected], which I am using for all my bank transactions.
But till 31st march I was able to successfully use it as I could receive OTP's but thereafter my sim got deactivated.

Upon contacting the vodafone store addressed "C-92, Jail Rd, Block C, Fateh Nagar, New Delhi, Delhi 110018", they told me that the only way out is to buy a postpaid sim which will be activated with a package of Rs.399/month and only after 3 months I can have my sim converted from post paid to prepaid. And, also charged a security of Rs.250 saying that after 3 months when I get the sim converted back to prepaid the security amount will be added as my balance.

First of all, I was using the sim for all bank transactions so it was into use.
Second, the sim was deactivated without any prior intimation.
Third, they forced me to use a postpaid sim with the package of Rs.399/month(when there are other less expensive packages also available) when I do not have much usage of that sim in-terms of making the outgoing calls.
Fourth, I am working in Hyderabad so why will I use the delhi sim to make outgoing calls, just add up roaming charges?
Fifth, since the activation of number was urgent so they temporarily activated my present sim. If the activation can be done temporarily, then why it cannot be done permanently. This shows that you guys are fooling your customer.

This is sheer act of forcing customer to buy your useless and expensive services.

Moreover, the customer care services are pathetic they put the calls on hold and then simply cut the calls. On retrying, the IVR menu says "press 1 for sim related issues", on doing so the IVR repeats the same menu and I am never connected back to the customer support agent.

SUCH A FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE!!!

I would never prefer to buy a vodafone sim in future and will never recommend anyone else. A worst service provider I have ever come across.
