Vodafone India — Verification process — thane (Korum mall) | |||||
Hello, I am a vodafone customer for last 10 years. Recently i had to change the registration of documents from my aunt's name to my name. I had gone to Vodafone gallery in Korum mall, Thane. They changed my number from prepaid to postpaid even though i hadn't asked for it. They took address proof from me and even charged Rs.200/- for this process. After a week i started getting messages from them telling me that 'the verification of billing address could not be completed since the entry was restricted'. The number which they had provided in the same message([protected]) is out of operation still and so i was unable to contact. Even after all this i called on 199 twice and told them about the same, the response which i got was very poor. They, instead of taking care of my problem, asked me to go to that store and submit my address proof again. I don't understand what the hell they were doing for verification. Verification is done only when we submit the documents. So, once the documents are submitted they shouldn't ask for the documents again. If they are saying that the entry was restricted then they should call before coming. They just forward the same message thrice with a contact number which is out of operation. They have now stopped my outgoing calls for no fault of mine. This is causing me inconvenience. If this is a kind of service that vodafone gives, then let me tell you, you are losing out on your customer. I am seriously fed up with this service and now planning to port to some other telecom service provider. Was this information helpful? | |||||
