Hi, My Name is Aritra Chattoraj. I had a Vodafone postpaid connection. The Number was: [protected]. My account number was[protected]. On October 2015, I opted for an Internet connection of 1GB 3g Internet @99/ month for 2 bill cycle. I activated the package at the morning and it got automatically deactivated at the evening without notifying me. Hence, I used the Internet service for the whole month and got a Bill of Rs. 5245.97 . When I called the Vodafone customer care. They told me first that there was no Internet pack recharge of Rs.99 ! I was shocked. After that, I discontinued the number permanently. The Vodafone people are still disturbing for making me the payment ASAP. After that, many conversations occurred and many things were agreed. Later they agreed that there was an offer of Rs. 99 at that time. But they were unable to clarify me why the package was deactivated without intimating. I visited Vodafone- saltlake Branch and they told me that it was a mistake and they will sort it out quickly and I would have been contacted by some Vodafone settlement team. 3 months has passed after this conversation. No phone calls and nothing has been communicated except some nuisance mail asking for the full payment. Yesterday I got a call from a person from Vodafone settlement team and we have agreed upon paying Rs.1245 to settle the bill. But when I asked for an email for the same he hesitated and didn't send me the email till now. Today when I call back him asking for the email he increased the amount to Rs. 1545 saying that the settlement team is not able to settle the bill on the previous amount. I agreed on the same too. But they didn't send me the email till now. Please help .
