Vodafone India — Vodafone data pack scam

This is benny stephan. I had been using the vodafone postpaid connection for about 6 months now. I was approached by a vodafone sales representative regarding a plan where i need to pay rs299 which promised 800 local minutes, 100 messages, 100 minutes std calls, free 3g data pack with 1gb quota and 2g unlimited if the 1gb of 3g data pack is finished. Vodafone never informed that the 3g datapack would be free only for 3 months when they gave me this postpaid connection. I had to port from idea to vodafone because of the lie from vodafone. I have been receiving a bill of rs600 to rs800 for the last 3 months. I had contacted vodafone recently and i was informed that vodafone has been charging me extra for the 3g data pack. I never received any acknowledgement from vodafone about any extra charge towards the 3g data pack. After having a heated conversation with the representative from vodafone in september, they told me that the data pack will be free for the next 3 months and then after 3 months i have to call vodafone back and tell them to provide free data pack as promised. The most disturbing thing is that they have again charged me rs700 for rs299 plan.
