My mobile Number is [protected]. I have received the bill for the period 20.07.2014 to 19.08.2014. I am charged Rs. 199 in the bill under the downloads item. On 01/08/2014 for handygo_javagame_2 Rs. 20, on 03/08/2014 for hello1_tvallsouth_ Rs. 60, on 07/08/2014 for handygo_javagame_2 Rs. 20 and for deals_mydala_99 Rs. 99 are charged. These items I never downloaded or tried to download the same. So, I kindly request you to refund the same as early as possible. Was this information helpful? | |||

1, On 28/07/14-12:50:07 handygo_javagame_2 Rs 20.00.
2, On 30/07/14-16:03:19 handygo_javagame_2 Rs 20.00.
3, On 02/08/14-16:30:00 hello1_tvallsouth_ RS 30.00.
4, On02/08/14-22:04:02 animation_download RS 15.00

These items I never downloaded or tried to download the same.
So, I kindly request you to refund the same as early as

I was using vodafone 3G post paid with their recently launched pocket 3G router (Rs.2499) and I noticed something like "deals_mydala_99 (Rs.99/-)" in my monthly bill and they charged Rs.99/-. When I raised this issue with them below was their reply. Till now I do not know what the above mentioned service is all about. I am having a BSNL connection at home and I am quite happy with that. I have purchased this Vodafone router only a month back and using this only while travelling and also when I am away from home and only to get my mails. So in order to understand what is this service "deals_mydala_99 (Rs.99/-)" which they are claiming that I have downloaded, I did a google search and found that many customers like me are facing this type of hidden charges, which is being thrust upon the customers fraudulently.
I am not raising this issue because they charged me Rs.100, it is because the way in which they are cheating the customers. See the volume of complaints on net and how many customers are getting cheated unknowingly.
This charge was appearing on my bill post 25 days of my purchase and I am 100% confident that I havent downloaded the mentioned service, kindly help to register a consumer complaint on the same.
Below is the reply which I received when I raised this issue with vodafone.

At the outset, we regret the inadvertent inconvenience caused to you in this regards and thank you for your patience and understanding.
With regard to your concern, we would like to inform you that, we have revalidated bill and as per feedback received from billing team and found that charges levied on your account are based on genuine usages and hence there is no discrepancy in the bill.
We assure you that Vodafone always endeavors to maintain a transparent and accurate system of billing its subscribers for the services rendered. Please be assured that all billing happens only against genuine usage done against that particular connection. We sincerely regret our inability to process any waiver towards the genuine usage.
We hope that we have clarified the same to your clear understanding.
We thank you for your patience understanding.
