Vodafone India — vodafone harrassment in changing ownership of prepaid number

This is regarding my two previous complaints regarding vodafone refusing to change ownership of prepaid number which is in my name to my wife's name (She has been using it since last several yaears) since this number has to be linked with aadhar.
We have visited the store 3 times but the issue is still unresolved. They are insisting to change to postpaid for 3 months and then to change back to prepaid. What can be done to get this simple thing resolved.
