On 8th nov around 5 pm vodafone retailer prashanta mondol made a call to the vodafone retailer helpline from his no [protected]. He provided the executive my no [protected] and asked him to check if i am eligible for any 4g data plan of per day 1 gb valid for more than 1 month. The helpline guy confirmed that i can avail the offer o[censored]nlimited calling and 1gb/day 4g data plan for 84 days in just 399 inr. He even confirmed once more whether i am owning a 4g handset or not. Entire conversation was done in speaker so i have heard every bit of that. So i asked my retailer to do that recharge for me and paid him 405 inr including his commission. Within a few moment got the message as recharge of inr 399 successful with all the detailed breakup of that pack.
But after some time i was given the benefit of only 3 gb 2g data valid for 30 days only for that recharge!!!
So instead of 4g for 84 days i was given only 2g for 30 days and no calling plan was included in it. I am getting charged for each n every call from my main balance only.
As my previous plan was valid for another day so the retailer suggested me to wait and check the same on next day only. But on 10th nov. Also there was no improvement for that. So i have reported the customer helpline no [protected] and vodafone complaint only no 198 several times in between 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Each and every time they keep on saying we don't have nay plan like that and different guys have provided me different excuses as following:
1. That offer is for 396 inr not for 399 inr.
2. That offer is for wb sim whereas i am having kolkata sim card so not valid for me.
3. That offer is for postpaid plans not for prepaid.
Then i asked them how that plan was informed to me even after checking with my number and i forced them to check the recording on 8th nov evening, they denied to do that and finally after severe arguments they told me to transfer that call to their senior but kept me in hold for near about half an hour.
In the mean time the retailer guy also contacted to their helpline for several times. There also he used to face the same denial but ultimately at the end one of the executive confirmed that wrong information was provided by retailer helpline no on 8th nov evening, but they have no means to compensate me.
Now my question is for inr 399 i have given only 3gb data that is even in a speed of 2g which is of no use to me. Most of the time network signals are vanished that is might be because of i have a 4g sim in a 4g handset. Moreover, for each and every call deductions are being done from my main balance. Whereas i was promised to get a 4g data plan with unlimited calling. This was the mistake of the retailer helpline guy then why i am being suffered for that. If service providers can't employ we trained and informative employees at their helpline numbers then what is the use of it and why consumer is going to face loss for them???
