I have purchased Ameo in 2019. I was very satisfied with Ameo, by its Performance & Reputation among all other Class of vehicles in India. I was using Ameo regularly & haven’t noticed any major issues. But After my second service, the Driver side AC vent came out of its position (Check attached photos) and i can notice the locking clips have been broken. I visited the Service centre (Volkswagen Vellore, Susee Motors, N0.141, New bye pass Road, Vellore-632012) But the Service incharge confirmed to me that the locking clips are broken and this unit will not be under warranty. I never expected this type of serious AC vent dislocation problem within 35000Kms Usage or 18 months. As you can check my regular service records at VW. Even the Car Battery has failed within 18 months and due to an emergency i couldn't complain VW on this, so i was in a situation to replace the Car Battery which cost me 8k. But as VW promised during the time of purchase about the 100000kms or 4 Years warranty for the Car. This Vent issue is a Design Problem. This is not a Wear and tear part or cannot be accessed to make it defect. Hence in order to find a solution for this issue, I was obliged to write a mail to you about the captioned subject. It is very unusual that Vents Dislocation happened so early during 30k Kms with World’s Most Reputed Automobile Company - VW. I am very upset with VW & not ready to bear the cost again for this unacceptable reason. I am expecting your favorable reply with immediate effect, I have worked with Hyundai and Benz Auto MNCs and have good relation with many leading auto portal executives and enquiring about this to raise an issue to recommend not to buy any VW Vehicles. Also I will definitely register a Complaint in CONSUMER COURT with all the evidence and service bills history documents and other New car purchase documents.
