Voltas — Air conditioner not working after service from authorised dealer | |||
Dear Sir, I am having window AC of Voltas which is running on Voltas stabilizer. My AC was not working properly, so I registered complaint on Voltas customer care. The person from service centre appeared after 10 days that too after repeated reminders. They did service of AC installed it again. We asked him to check the stabilizer also to which he replied that he is not responsible for that & he went away. From the very next day the AC went dead (no power supply). The person again came from service centre. He told me that PCB of AC was short circuited & it would cost approx Rs 2000 for repair. He told me that this happened because of faulty stabilizer. Now I have following questions from the concerned Voltas executives: 1. When I had doubt on the stabilizer & already reported the problem to Voltas, why it was not resolved at that time only? 2. Why I was not made aware for not running the AC in that condition? 3. Why should I pay additional Rs 2000 when I had reported the problem beforehand. This is similar to case- I give my product to company for servicing. They take out critical component from my product & then ask me to pay for that component. This is like robbing a customer.
