Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to file a complaint against TATA Voltas regarding the non-compliance of the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for my Voltas AC.
On 16 Apr 2023, I contacted the TATA Voltas customer care center regarding the malfunction in my AC. I was informed that my AC would be repaired on 17 Apr 2023. However, despite several follow-ups, TATA Voltas did not repair the AC on the promised date. I called TATA customer care for the next 1 week many times, they always used to tell me my AC would be repaired within the same day, tbut they never turned up. Hence, I had to get it repaired from outside which costed me Rs. 5000.
I again contacted TATA Voltas for assistance but received no response. Finally, on 29 Apr 2023, TATA Voltas contacted me and I informed them that I got it repaired from outside but still wished to get it checked by TATA Voltas. They told okay. However, to my surprise, I received a message stating that "Request no [protected] has been cancelled. Reason: Customer Not Responding. Call [protected] or escalate to [protected]@voltas.com for assistance. - Voltas".
I am extremely disappointed with TATA Voltas's unprofessional behavior and their failure to comply with the AMC. Despite numerous follow-ups, the company did not take any action, causing me immense mental and financial distress.
Therefore, I demand that TATA Voltas compensate me for the damages incurred, including the cost of repairing the AC and any additional expenses and compensation for mental harassment.
