[Resolved]  Electrolux, Washing Machine — POOR SERVICE AND DELAY FOR THEIR FINANCIAL PROFIT

I got an electrolux washing machine on 26 january,2011 with 2 years warranty.It was of rs.8910 and was brand new.In recent few months it started troubling us with some mechanical problem.After calling the costumer service of the company,the mechanics started fooling us by saying that they will come that very day but no one DID appear so that the warranty period expires and we have to pay a whole of pocket for that.After several complaints the mechanic came but he DID not repair it properly,instead gave us another problem in the machine.Earlier knowing that the bill was lost no one came and now when the bill is found the machine was troubled again.Our phone numbers were drove to the reject list of the mechanics and e-mails were rejected cy the domain of the company address.Till date,after six months,we are facing problem in the unrepaired machine and the loss of rs.500 was only wasted in calls to the mechanics requesting them to come to fix the machine and the calls are on even today with no response.

Electrolux Washing Machine — Poor repair/service

My 3 year old washy-talky stopped working on 5th July 2008 so I called up "United Engineers", the authorized service center of Electrolux in Noida. The complaint number being - 25923. The service engineer came for a visit and after inspection, he told me that the main motor needs to be replaced and that would require the appliance to be moved to their workshop. I agreed and the same day they lifted the appliance from my house.

I got the machine back after two days with a bill of Rs 2700/=. While dropping back, the washing machine was not sent along with any technical person but only with the delivery man. He fitted the machine and showed me that the tub was rotating. I was also comforted to see the motor working.

After the delivery man left with the payment, I loaded the machine with two days pending laundry which was enough to fill the tub but the automatic fuzzy logic didn't show the correct configuration according to the load. I had to correct the configuration manually. I tried it several times but the fuzzy logic was not working properly. The problem not being a show stopper I carried on with running the machine with the manual configuration. After the wash was done, it started to rinse and spin the clothes. With the spinning a strange and hideous voice started coming from within the machine, so horrifying that I had to stop the machine immediately.

I immediately called up Mr. Gaurav, the incharge o[censored]nited Engineers to tell him that even after paying Rs 2700, the washing machine is absolutely unusable. He assured me that he will soon send the engineer to check the things. This conversation happened around 2 p.m. and till the end of the day nobody turned up. Meanwhile I followed up with him around 3 times and every time he gave me the fake assurance. Before closing his office he did not even bother to tell me that his engineer will not be able to turn up.

The bottom line is that I have paid a hefty sum of Rs 2700/= for a pathetic repair job in which the service center has not even bothered to test the washing machine after the repair. They repaired one problem only to introduce two more problems. The machine was unusable earlier and is still unusable but the authorized service center has grabbed Rs 2700 from me.

This incidence shows the insensitive and unprofessional attitude shown by an authorized service center of a global MNC. These people deserve to be sued in consumer court.
I agree with you even my washing machine stop working from 12 november 2008 and I had complain many times right now I had two complaint no. but still they are not able to repair the machine I asked for replacement but their is no responce from that side. I am living in a joint family due to that we face many problem and even I feel that these people deserve to be sued in consumer court.

Electrolux Washing Machine — pathetic service and problem still remaining

we have an ekectrolux washing machine which used to make alot of noise.
we lodged a complaint in paul &compay .they sent an engineer who said it would cost us 1500 .
on sending the maachine for service the price increased to 4200.we still sid ok
they kept the machine for 4months and then on repeated complaints sent it but the machine still makes noise they say there is a problem with the motor!!
when they took the machine for the first time they sid they would be checking all the parts.when we questioned them they said that the part was not available now they are asking for more money!!

please look into the seriously as it is causing alot of inconvenience.
