[Resolved]  Western Digital — ​replacement query

hello, i am balveer.actualily I sent a hard disk to western digital for replacement but they are not ready to send back my hard disk to me.They always telling me we'll send you your hard disk since one & half months.. Kindly do need full for me. thanks.

I will more than happy to assist you. For your information, the WD product warranty starts from the manufacture date. If you have registered the WD product online, then the warranty starts from the date of purchase. I’d suggest you, after buying the product, just register your product with us.

Hi Abhikap,

SO first thing's first, please backup your existing data in other storage space. After backup the drive, try to run the Data Lifeguard Diagnostics in the system to test the HDD condition.

If the result status is bad and the HDD is still under warranty, I’d suggest you to proceed for an RMA. For RMA service, you may refer to the link below:

Hello,

I want to ask you about error in drive. the thing is my friend have green drive and its giving of reallocated sector count bla bla error. I dont remember exactly. is it critical error? Or Drive is going to dead?
