Consumers beware of online frauds on olx / quikr I am based in ahmedabad. i recently dealt with a company "world computer" (http://worldcomputers.in/) which i found through the listing they made on olx and had put forward an order for 5 dell working desktop systems with the following configurations: (c2d - 320 / 2gb / 160 gb / 17"dell / kb / mouse) - dell optiplex 330 (working sytem) Since they said that they regular courier / transport every where i sent them additional transporation charges over and above cost of the systems to ship the same to karnataka to my relative. They gave me the following saving / personal details to make the payment even though i insisted that since its a business transaction to pay to the current account. Kalpesh j parmar / kotak mahindra bank / malad west branch Account number : [protected] Contact person : mukesh parmar : [protected] I had paid rs 35005 (26/7/16) + rs 1005 (29/7/16)- for transportation to this account The goods did arrive quite lately a but they were dead (non working lcd’s and 80 gb instead of 160 gb hdd) and parts were not as ordered (good neat and clean systems). mukesh did not sent me the invoice and also sent me the lr number quite lately which showed that “goods not packed properly, at owners risk”. hence, such fraudsters deliberately pack non working faulty parts and under configuration systems (scrap like systems) as they know they ultimately it would pass on to the customer as they have already received the payment. such crooks take payment in advance…. The concerned person"mukesh parmar" is allegedly using kotak mahindra account which is in his brothers name & olx listings to commit fraud with customers like me. i sent him the pictures of non working lcd’s and 80gb he supplied in the system but he instead of accepting his said that you can do whatever you like. he will not replace the faulty parts. he sounded as if he does not care about legal action Please inquire and freeze his account & all the listings to stop this illegal activity to save customers from such fraudsters. online customers please beware as you might land up losing money if you buy without checking and trusting such fraudsters blindly. they will promise something and will deliver scrap… A duped customer Ahmedabad World computer Address Shop. no.53 gurudwara bldg, Opp. chitra cinema, Dadar east.
