www.flower-india.in — Food Product delivered which is near expiry

I had purchased a combo offer consisting of a 24 rose bouquet, 24 Ferrero Rocher and a Fresh cake from www.flower-india.in for total of Rs2889.00 on 1st May 2015. I had purchased the same using online transaction All the products were delivered on 1st May 2015, The Ferrero Rocher which was delivered as part of this order was near to its expiry which had packing date of 27-Apr-2014 and expiry date as 27-May-2015. Considering the product is not expired and should be fine, recipients of the same opened it and as soon as the packet was opened there was a bad smell, the food items were of poor quality (and to mention near to its expiry). When complained about the same to the site (sent them emails and also had several chats with them), they mentioned they will replace the item next day, I am chasing them for 2 weeks. On multiple occasion they mentioned they will contact vendor and replace the this pack but they haven't taken any action on the same. I have provided them with pictures of the box delivered, dates on it and all the necessary details required but there is no response from them on the complaint logged. The support provided by this company is pathetic and online chat with their agent was really useless and they really took away peace of mind with their answers on the webchat. As per the return and refund policy of the company - 'Refunds In case of cancellation of order by customer, must inform flower-india.in at least 24 hours before delivery day. In case of refund for delivered orders items must be return in original condition, unopened (still in its plastic wrap) gift basket if any. The amount would be refunded online to the same credit card/debit card/ bank account that was used for the initial transaction in 6-7 working days. We cannot accept returns of opened items, damaged items, personalized items or items returned more than 1 days after delivery. Replaces Within 1 days of delivery of a shipment, you may return any of the following items you purchased from flower-india.in for a replacement. e.g. In case of flower you must inform us within 12 hours of delivery. Faulty items. Items damaged in transit We cannot accept returns of opened items, damaged items, personalized items or items returned more than 2 days after delivery.' Although they mention they cannot accept opened item, in this case recipients wouldn't have known about the food product quality unless it was opened (Since the food item was packed inside the box). Expecting a necessary action against such poor quality food product delivery.

Yesterday we gave an order to your website with particular date i.e 18-08-16..they took the order but till know they didn't reach to delivery address...if you cant delivery at particular then why you took order??? we trusted your website but you people spoiled our celebrations..next time we don't your website...we want our money back...
