I wished to get a plot at harini city, kadambadi, ecr which was marketed by yume homes (Pandiaraj) and paid a cheque for rs 1lakh as advance booking in jan 2016 in the name of yume homes and lands. Following which i paid another 2 lakhs in feb 2016 towards confirmation for registration. Then i noticed that the layouts were not marked clearly even after long time & kept changing, the roads were not laid as promised during launch and moreover saw some farming was being done in a portion of the layout. I was said it is an agricultural land getting converted to residential, but was skeptical at the pace in which the sales & registration went. So i wished to withdraw from it and asked for a refund of amount in march 2016. Till date i approached them in person several times which was of no use. It is too difficult to meet pandiaraj even when he is at office. Office staff say that he is on meeting and his door is mostly locked and they provided 2 cheques so far which got bounced off. He did give several letters promising money on certain dates, or in pockets but none were honoured. He also does not pick up any phone calls, when sending whatsapp message he just replies stating it will be settled soon. Please let me know what is the next legal step i should do to get my money back.
