Zomato — Food delivery delay - company refuses to compensate

I have ordered food on Zomato on January 6 (Order ID [protected]). The App stated delivery time as 7. 12 PM and that they would provide coupon if delivery was not done on time.

Delivery was delayed by 20 minutes. But I got message that food has been delivered 5 minutes before time! Even after complaining on app and email, I have been given run around and false, contradictory excuses. These include:

Delivery guy was in your area, even if not delivered
Delivery was before time
Delivery was only slightly delayed
We will try and compensate
According to our policy, you are not eligible for refund
We apologize for inconvenience, but we cannot provide refund coupon

The amount is small - Rs 384.37 - but it is misleading, and lies that I wish to bring to your notice
