Zomato — refund denied on ingenuine grounds | |||
I placed an order today afternoon 22nd july 2019, on ZOMATO app.Order #[protected]. I placed the order, the money got deducted from my paytm account, and within 60 seconds i cancelled the order before i could possibly receive a notification that the order is accepted by the restro. I ordered readymade bakery items. and I was denied any refund, saying that the restro accepted the order(which is false) and the food was prepared and it got wasted(which is false once again) I communicated with the executive available on app and on his suggestion I communicated ZOMATO via there email too, but everytime the same reply came to me stating that the food got prepared and it got wasted which is practically not possible with a bakery shop or within 60 seconds. Please take necessary action against a company like ZOMATO, who can lie for a meagre amount just to make money. I am unsure how many people get cheated like this all over India on daily basis by ZOMATO. Was this information helpful? | |||
