DTDC Courier & Cargo Complaints & Reviews

I sent a courier through a DTDC franchisee from Pune to Jammu (Tawi) on 22nd October, 2008. Since today, i.e.15th December, 2008, DTDC courier team - either Pune or Bangalore never responds to my calls or mails. I have received just 3 e-mails in lieu of multiple e-mails and daily phone calls. I have spent more than 400 Rs. on phone calls to DTDC offices, while the actual consignment was worth only 250 Rs. Still the office people are not doing...

I had sent a courier through DTDC couriers in Bangalore on 5th December 2008 (Tracking Number - U[protected]. The document was expected to arrive at Edappal(Kerala) by 8th December 2008 as per the promise of the person who booked the courier. The courier was to be sent to the Canara Bank, Kuttipuram Road, Edapal. I enquired 2 days after the expected date of delivery and got a tracking information that the courier had reached the Calicut office...

I had send a parcel mumbai to dehradun but still is 6 days and parcel hav'nt recieved..when i called the Malad Branch they said we 'll check to the customer care so call after 1 hour still after that they said customer care is busy call more 1 hour ..when i called customer care they said wait for some time and they talking with there collegues for movie and dinner..after that they said we'll check and call u after 1 hour ...now...

I wanted to send a courier to Chennai. (i'm from bangalore).
When i checked with the DTDC domlur branch they told me to book it in special in which it reaches the other side by next day morning within 10 am. They charged Rs.120/- (whereas the normal charge is Rs.60/-). It is double the normal charge and i paid since it reaches early morning.
But when i checked with the party to whom i sent the courier, he was not received...

A package was sent from Pune on the 25th october 2008 and to date 3rd November 2008, there has been no delivery...How could a package addressed to Mysore go to Hyderabad???????Just shows that the company does not care for its customer...DTDC SHOULD BE BLACKLISTED AND THE CONSUMER COURT SHOULD INSTRUCT THEM TO PAY UP FOR THEIR DTDC: Delayed, Tardy, Deficient, Cheating services...that's what DTDC stands for!!!......

I couriered some of the items thru dtdc from hyderabad to ahmedabad.
I had packed all the items in one single gift wrap and kept all the items inside the pack. Items included decorative candles, clothes, 2 perfumes and a watch.
But when the consignment was delivered to the recipient in ahmedabad, the watch was missing from the consignment
The perfume bottles were open.
This is something intolerable from DTDC, or...

I would like to draw your attention to the excess charged by your office. When contacted your staff declined to accept the low rates as mentioned on the website.

I had purchased a pen drive online from ebay and the seller sent it to me through DTDC courier. Why is courier services there! So that If we are sending anything there is a assurance that it will be reached safely to the destination. It very painful to now that there is no difference between Courier and postal services. I am Vijay Mahajan. I sent a courier to Chennai from Mumbai on 14th July 2008 (Courier Consignment Number : M35205339.), but still it has not reached Chennai.I enquired many times to the DTDC office (DTDC COURIER & CARGO LTD. Gala No. 1-2, Green Lawns, Aarey Rd. Goregaon(E), Mumbai-400 063.) from where i sent. I came to know from chennai DTDC Courier office[protected] that my consignment has not reached....

I forwarded the IIFT form to NewDelhi.
But it went to Orissa which is the permanent address mentioned as From address...
