To Whom It May Concern,
I am a regular commuter traveling daily from KGF to Bangalore. As part of my journey, I use the Kuppam train and transfer to a bus from Bangarpet. I would like to bring to your attention a deeply disappointing experience I had on 2nd July 2025, which caused significant inconvenience and distress.
On that day, I boarded Bus No: KA42F2045 from Bangarpet at around 9:10 PM. Unfortunately, the bus did not depart for nearly 50 minutes, leaving us waiting unnecessarily without any clear communication from the staff.
The conductor was on a personal phone call for approximately 30–40 minutes and did not provide any updates to the passengers. When we inquired, he casually informed us that the bus was waiting for the Bangarpet Express and even suggested that we should ask him whether the bus would depart—clearly reflecting a lack of responsibility and professionalism.
We were not advised to take an alternate bus nor given any clear instructions, leaving passengers—many of whom were women—in a state of confusion and uncertainty. After traveling all the way from Bangalore, this kind of delay and neglect is both unacceptable and frustrating.
Given that women are provided free travel as a matter of respect and support, incidents like these raise concerns about whether we are truly being valued as commuters.
For your reference, here are the details:
Bus No: KA42F2045
Ticket No: 0076334
Ticket Issued Time: 21:36:26
Date: 2nd July 2025
I request that appropriate action be taken against the concerned staff and that measures be implemented to ensure better communication and timely service in the future. Such delays, especially at night, compromise passenger safety and comfort.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Thanks & Regards
Sridevi
