My name is Qamaruzzaman; I am a freelance Translator from English into Urdu & Arabic. Mr. Abhijit Roy (Mobile No. [protected], Email: [protected]@gmail.com, Address: E4/5-Near Dawarka Sector -1, Mahaveer Enclave, New Delhi-110067) from Rainbow (as per his email signature) called me on my mobile on 26 July 2023 and asked me sir, are you Urdu translator? I have regular work for translation and DTP in CorelDraw, are you available to do it? I replied yes I can translate only and I cannot design it. But I have one friend who can design it. But first we need to discuss the rate. Then he told ok sir send me your email address and I will send the files and rate. I gave my email address on his WhatsApp and he sent me the files and rate on email (mail attached). I translated the text and got the designing done from my friend and sent the file next day and also I mentioned my rate.
After that he started to send me files on email/WhatsApp and I did the task and sent to him and when I asked for payment, he told next week you will get your payment. Like this I translated many files and sent to him and always he said after completing this file you will get your payment.
Last On 22nd August 2023 he sent 7 pages for translation and DTP. I asked him for payment then he told after completing this work you will get you payment. I did this job and sent to him on 23rd August 2023 along with invoices for all previous works what I had done till date and called on his number also but he did not answer. Later he sent m message on WhatsApp that he is outside and will call later. After that I follow up for payments many times on WhatsApp, call and email but he did not reply. One day he replied on email the he is busy in G20 but he didn’t say anything about payment and when I started to follow-up regularly for payment and threatened him that I will take legal action against you and also filed a complaint on TranslationDirectory.com (this platform for freelance translator) then he blocked my number (snapshot attached). My total outstanding amount is INR 7, 474.50. Currently I am not in India. You can contact me on my WhatsApp/email.
