I have taken the policy from Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co Ltd for myself and my 2 kids. Within one month my daughter was admitted to the hospital because of the high fever. I did inform the agent on time about the hospitalization. Then i have shifted my kid to Ruby Hall clinic for the further treatment since the previous hospital was not listed in my policy for the cashless. At the time of discharge from Ruby Hall Clinic i had to wait till 9pm in the hospital since Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co Ltd couldn't approve my cashless claim. contacted them many times throughout the day but they kept on giving reason that sever is down and they can not approve it. At last i had paid the whole amount and got discharge. I had to travel by Ola with my kid in the late night. After that agent had given many reasons to not to collect documents from me. after i forced them many times, he came and collected the documents. he has submitted it but claim rejected saying that Main policy holder is having Hypertension therefore kid's claim is rejected. I did ask them from where they come to know that I have hypertension, they didn't reply. Considering i am having Hypertension, then at the first place they should not have given me the policy. Now they have given me the policy but i don't understand why my kid's claim get rejected because of my illness (which i dont have). I asked that agent to cancel my policy because from the day i had thought of purchasing the policy i got many silly excuses from the agent.I asked him to cancel my policy and refund me whole policy amount. instead of paying me whole amount (18169 Rupees) now insurance company has initiated the refund of 4542.22 Rupees.Because of this fraud insurance company i am in big loss, my 1.5 year kid has to suffer throughout the day because of them. Now i need my hospitalization and policy amount to be refunded in full.
