I invested Rs. 48, 000/- in Adventure Country Resorts Ltd. in April 2000 and received
share certificates with encashable vouchers. After five years I tried to contact the
company but there was no response from their office telephone. When I visited their
registered premises at Hughes Road, Mumbai, I found it locked and learnt from neighbors
that the premise was sealed by some authority.
Till date there is no response either from the authorities or the company. I have
learnt that the EOW Mumbai had registered an FIR in 2001 under the MPID Act and that
a Special MPID Court directed refunds to investors in January 2015. Despite holding
all original documents, I never received any intimation or refund during that
disbursement.
I am now approaching here to register my claim as a missed
claimant. I request other investors who suffered similar losses to join hands and make
a joint complaint before the Special MPID Court to fight for justice.
