I want to highlight the unbelievably terrible experience which I had with Vibha Mishrikotkar. I was mentally and emotionally tortured by her which affected my personal and work life as well. The amount of lies she told me is unimaginable. She always took money on time(25k + 20k) but never did my work. It's been more than 3.5 months now. I would suggest don’t reach out to the lawyers through justdial.com as any tom, dick or harry may end up cheating u. Do your due diligence before hiring any lawyer and visit the court in person if I suggest.
Here is the story.
Last early December 2022, I was trying to get a lawyer who would help me to get a document created through a local magistrate for father's correct name as a prerequisite for my sister's missing birth certificate generation. I got a call from advocate Vibha Mishrikotkar through just dial if I had any requirement. I agreed to meet her and gave the required docs and some 1k rupees initially. After few days later she asked me to pay around 4k rupees to which I said I won't pay the full amount. But she repeatedly forced me to pay the full amount and said I will get the document in a week's time. I unfortunately believed her and agreed to pay the full amount. After a week I tried to reach her but no luck. She was not answering my calls or replying to my whatsapp messages. After a week she called me and asked to pay court fees of around 6k rupees. I paid. She said document is ready and she would give me the document in 2-3 days. That’s what she said mid December!!!. 1-2 weeks passed and no reply. I tried calling her and she said that she is not well and she would give me the doc this day or that day and the day never came. She said his colleague’s mother passed away and doc is with him. Once she also got annoyed and threatened me after I called her few more times. Few more weeks passed. Late January when I was on a trip to Chennai, she repeatedly started calling me and disturbing me. I told her that I am on a trip but still she was calling and asked for more money of around 3k for house visit for verification of my dad. She also wanted some personal help of 10k which she said she would repay me by feb 10th 2023 and I unfortunately paid. Feb 10th came and no response from her. I got busy in my office work and 2-3 weeks later she called again saying that my doc is ready and I can collect. I was happy finally but again she asked for 10k rupees more as she lost her mobile and she would repay me by march 10th 2023. I asked her to type the repay date in whatsapp msg but she lied that she did type and send but she didn't. I said I would come the next day to collect the doc. I waited at Andheri station for 2-3 hrs and finally she came but later said she is not able to find the doc after going to andheri court. She also took 1k rupees as someone named yadav his colleague wants it to give the doc to her. She said she would give me next day surely but as usual no reply. I was angry and showed my frustration to her. I threatened to complain to court to which she said that lawyers doesn’t fear anyone :). A week passed, she asked for 10k more saying registrar signature is needed and said I can come and collect the doc. I paid and when I was in train, she was saying she is not feeling well again and need to go. I said, i am reaching in 20 mins so pls wait. She spent around 1 hr before that in court forcing me to pay 10k to her and get registrar's signature but couldn't wait for 20 mins to give the doc to me. Without informing me she left and I traveled from Mira road to andheri for this.
Till now she has taken nearly 25k rupees as a fee from me and additional 20k rupees for personal help which she has not repaid yet.
Most importantly she hasn't even given the magistrate document to me.
I wonder if she even has that document. I discussed the same with another lawyer and he started laughing from Andheri court. He said why would a registrar charge 10k rupees for a signature. I knew surely i was cheated. Earler I had serious doubts about her. It was confirmed now.
I have written this only to make people aware about her so that she cannot do this again to someone else.
Don’t be a fool like me.
Hope I get my money back.
