I place an online order thru shopify platform where Aeronut, a goa company and related to pengu inventive private limited, had displayed their products one of which was dining table. My order no AERO[protected] value of Rs 8091 was done on 26/10/24 and confirmation received with delivery on[protected]. Since 100% advance was to be made, which was done, we received confirmation of order #w8wxxeamg. Due to diwali festival the delivery was extended till[protected]. Thereafter we sent mails but no reply came. On[protected] we received a communication that they cannot deliver immediately and hence gave us the option to have full refund. We sent our request to refund with the bank details. There was no reply and we sent a mail that we will be forced to go legally. On 22-11 they sent a mail that since we have not given cancelled confirmation order the refund is delayed, which we immediately gave. Then again we got no reply till we sent a mail that we will go legally. They replied on 26-11 that they need 7-15 days for initiating the refund, which we were forced to agree since as an online buyer we have not met the seller and are cornered or left at their mercy. On 9-12 and 10-12 reminders were given that 15 days is on the verge of completion, for which till date there is no reply. Their website is under maintenance and there is no communcation from them. Mail sent to shopify platform but they entertained the query with their own limitations.
