Summary of the Incident:
I had booked a household goods shifting service through ShiftEazy, who recommended Agarwal Best Packers and Movers. The quoted price was ₹55 per kg with no mention of additional charges.
On 13th May 2025, the package was picked up from my address in Ghaziabad. After pickup, the packer shared an invoice of ₹4500 plus insurance and GST, claiming “dimensional charges.” When I questioned this, there was an argument, and the representative agreed that I could pay 50% (₹2250) immediately and the rest upon delivery in Bhopal.
The next day, I was informed that the package had reached Jhansi and was told to pay the remaining amount (₹2250), as the delivery was scheduled for the next day. I made the full payment.
Since then, the delivery has not happened. I have raised complaints with both ShiftEazy and Agarwal Packers, but there has been no proper response. My calls are being ignored, and now my number has been blocked by the service provider.
Current Status:
Goods undelivered as of today. No resolution provided. Communication has been blocked by the vendor.
Action Requested:
Immediate update on the status and delivery of the package, full refund and compensation for the mental harassment. Requesting intervention from ShiftEazy to resolve the issue.
