I, Jitendra Singh Rathore, am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Agoda regarding my recent booking (Booking ID: [protected]) for a 3-night stay at [protected]@Ampang, Malaysia, from 26th to 29th April 2025.
The Agoda listing clearly mentioned that the property would be 100 square meters (approx. 1000 square feet). However, upon check-in, I was provided a unit of only 250 square feet, which is a clear case of misleading information and fraud. This is a serious violation of customer trust.
I tried contacting Agoda multiple times through emails, messages, and even sent emergency SOS alerts, but received no response for over 24 hours. This lack of response in an emergency situation is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
As a result, my entire trip was disrupted, and I experienced severe mental stress and inconvenience. The situation not only ruined my travel experience but also affected me emotionally and financially.
Therefore, I am demanding the following:
1. Full refund for the entire stay due to misrepresentation and poor service.
2. Compensation o[censored]SD 5000 to 10000 for the mental, emotional, and financial distress caused.
3. A formal written apology from Agoda.
4. Immediate review and correction of the misleading property listings to protect other customers.
If I do not receive a satisfactory resolution within a reasonable timeframe, I will be compelled to escalate this issue to the International Consumer Forums, Indian Consumer Court, social media platforms, and media outlets.
