Aided Colleges — Teaching experience in deemed university not considered valid

Address: 682 509

Sir/ madam

I just need a clarification on why the experience of a faculty in deemed university not counted for while calculating the total points of that faculty when she or he appears for an interview in a ugc recognized aided college?

I have been working in the no: 1 private university for the last 7.5 years. Before that 1 year i have worked in an off campus centre of m g university, kottayam, kerala. I have attended interviews for the permanent post of assistant professor in commerce in 4 colleges in kerala. But never was my experience given any due consideration in these places.

I was the mg university 2nd rank holder in mcom examination in 2005. I cleared my ugc - net with jrf in 2005 itself. Due to çertain personal affairs i could not avail jrf. But i am doing my phd on a part time basis.

I have an interview next month. Before that i would like to have a clarification on the validity of my experience. If students of the university are eligible and their degrees are valid then why we faculties are not eligible to be appointed in an aided college and why there is no validity for our experience? If any response would come from your esteemed self that i can produce it while attending interviews.

Kindly consider the matter seriously.

Thank you
