Airports Authority of India — Wrong Parking Charges levied at Lucknow Airport

1. I arrived at LKO CCSI Airport on 30 Dec 21 at 2300h after debording from air india flt AI437
delhi..bhopal...lucknow flight.
2. I booked ola cab at 2305h. Ola Cab came at 2311h and we were moving out by 2318h.
3. I was stopped by parking people to pay 90 rupees parking charge. Ola driver had not even stopped 7 minutes at airport..
4. I had to pay 90 rupees from my pocket.
5. They gave me receipt in which timings are clearly written.
6. Can they charge me like this?? Even less than 6 minutes at airport and that too no parking at all..
7. Please get my money back and change the wrong system.

The common rule for the drivers which transport passengers to and from airport, at the airport.
the stop of the arriving vehicle is allowed for 5 minutes without charge.
The traffic sign "Parking is prohibited", which has defferent meaning from the sign "Stop is prohibited"" shall be set by the owner of the road or of plot of land at the airport zone for drivers.

The parking charge - the charge for the stop of the length of time over 5 minutes - is up to the owner of the road or of parking place, But the tariff of parking shall be reasonable.

It is not clear, who was the owner of the parking place, and the other conditions of the parking, which usually are displayed at the point of stop, from the complaint.

In common terms, if the author considers, the paid tariff of 90 rupees out of fair practice,
he can apply for refund to the owner of the parking place.

If the owner or manager of parking is no defined in the displayed rules of parking and in the receipt,
the payer shall fill F.I.R at the nearest UP police office, also for reimbursement.

Also the UP police shall observe the rights of the passengers by the reminder to produce name of driver during the transportation at UP public roads,
except for the servants of land lords, when they deliver the harvest between the lands of their land lord for the use of the land lord for a short distance.
