Ubsequent to our various advertisement On 10th December I had been to RB mobile(cuddalore Airtel relation store) and inquired about conversion from prepaid to postpaid..
the executive Mr. Shankar explained about the existing offers then finally I agreed for the conversion after collecting 300 rupees for activation charges they issued new postpaid sim(wheres in the sim mentioned only 4.8 rupees as activation charges), during the conversation he had confirmed that Airtel executives may call you and come to your home for address verification after the verification conversion would be initiated. subsequently your prepaid would deactivated then immediately need to replace the sim then call the customer care for activation.
exactly on 10th December at 3.45PM received message from AT-AIRPTP with mentioning that received "your request to migrate your airtel prepaid mobile to postpaid".
then same day at 10.27PM received message from AZ-AIRCCM with mentioning that "prepaid to postpaid conversion of your airtel mobile has been initiated .address verification will happen within 72 hours.
on 11th December afternoon someone came to my home for address verification also they confirmed to my wife migration would initiated shortly.
same day at 7.03PM received confirmation message from AZ-AIRCCM mentioning as "address verification for prepaid to postpaid conversion of your airtel mobile has been completed . the conversion shall start shortly.
subsequently at 8 PM my prepaid has been deactivated then immediately replace the sim but still same condition there was no signal in prepaid phone.
then immediately try to get help through airtel customer care through my wife's airtel number but no use because not able to speak to anyone, after that i tried to call the airtel executive Mr.Shankar for help but didn't pick up the phone finally i got him online initially he replied that my office hour is over if anything contact me tomorrow morning after 9AM, as per my personal request he suggested to restart the phone or go for manual network selection.
contentiously two hour I tried but no use finally today morning again been to RB mobile for further assistance and waiting there more then one hour then finally gave to them both sim ask the rectify the issue.
but till now nothing happens my both sim are not working, because of the same problem I missed lot of important calls ..
I didn't expect such service from AIRTEL, this is really strange
The worst case to understand/to know the status I send several messages to 121 through my wife's mobile till yesterday night i received reply as "for mobile number [protected] current status is pending for disconnection, please contact the airtel retailer", actually at that time my prepaid sim was disconnected.
then again tonight at 21.58 send message to 121 for checking the status then immediately received reply as "for mobile [protected] currently request is not received . kindly check with ARC from where connection has been purchased "

I had register complaint on 12th December but still the same problem exists ...detail mail has been sent to above mentioned mail ID also.
