We booked this All over India packers and movers on the 23rd of January 2025 to transfer all our household goods from Noida Gaur City 1 to Kolkata, Rajarhat.
At first they did not mention that we have to pay a part of the money. First they emptied our house and then in the night they sent a bill of Rs 79060. At first they did not mention this amount to us before taking our things. They said 38 thousand and Gst so we never expected such a huge amount of Rs 79060.
After my husband spoke to them, they said that they have charged is extra for bathroom stuffs like buckets and mug and also charged us extra for our bags in which clothes were packed. But don't you think this was illogical because bathroom stuffs and clothes are included because these are basic house hold things so how can they say that they have charged us extra for these. That did not make sense. They just wanted to take out extra money from us.
My husband spoke to the owner and requested him alot to reduce the total amount so after requesting alot then he reduced it to 75 thousand but he never sent a new bill for 75 thousand.
Later on that day which was the 24th, the owner said to send him 20 thousand, then afterwards he called and said to pay 25 thousand so we got suspicious about them and told them that why they did not inform us at the start before taking our things that we need to pay something and we said that first deliver our things and then we will pay you the entire 75 thousand.
The owner agreed but that very same day he called back and started threatening me and my mother stating that he will leave our things at a place which we never heard of before known as Gazipur if we don't pay and he was demanding 90 percent of 75 thousand.
So we were very nice and polite to him, we said once we reach Kolkata we would transfer the amount to you since we had cash and had to deposit in the bank.
But he did not listen so we went to the main police station in Noida all in tears and inspector Dinesh Yadav spoke to the owner over the phone and told him about why he is doing like this, then the owner agreed to the police inspector and said he will reach our things safely to Kolkata.
As we left from the police station, the owner called again and again he threatened asking for the money.
We had our fight to Kolkata on the 25th of January and we were all stressed out and worried about our things. Before boarding the flight I called the Owner, his name is Harish and he threatened me that he will make a video of my things been thrown and he will send me the video.
I was completely tensed and was worried throughout the entire journey. We were very scared and the mind was not at peace all because of that packers and movers. He also used abusive dirty language in hindi and spoke to us.
After we reached Kolkata, he sent a message to my mother stating that he already threw our things at Gazipur.
You can just imagine our state of mind at that time.
We called the inspector from Noida and told him that it was the 26th of January Republic day and no bank was even open to deposit the money to pay the packers and movers and we also reached Kolkata early morning on the 26th.
Finally we took help from our relative to deposit the money for us so he did it through an ATM machine and finally we sent the money to packers and movers a total of 67500.
Then he was not receiving our call after receiving the money. When he finally answered our call, he said by the next day we will receive our things and he asked for our location which I sent him.
But days passed by, we kept phoning everyday and he kept saying tomorrow tomorrow then he provided phone numbers of the other third party people who were involved in this.
So we called them and they said that the owner has not paid them so they will not deliver our things so again we called the owner and he said that he already paid them and they are asking for more money.
The things were at Dankuni Vijay Parking. It was a godown. So the owner told us to go to Dankuni Vijay Parking and confirm if our things are there or not and he said if it there then he will pay them the money.
We took so much trouble to go there as I had to take my baby along who is only 1 year 8 months. It was so troublesome for him.
And first of all packers and movers are door to door service but here they asked us to go to the godown.
After reaching Dankuni Vijay parking, we checked the things and confirmed it was our things. The things were loaded in a truck one on top of another so we just recognized the things that were visible.
So I called the owner and told him that yes these are our things so you can pay the remaining money to the people he ows money to but then he told me why will he pay money and then it was terrible shock for us.
He lied to us all the time.
It became night at Dankuni Vijay parking and no one was releasing our things so we went to the nearby police station and spoke to the head incharge and he called the truck owner in which our things were loaded so they came and said infront of the inspector that they have not received their payment from Harish and Harish was supposed to pay them Rs 9500 but he only sent Rs 4000 and made us pay the rest which was his job not ours as we were supposed to pay only 75k but he finally made us pay 79k.
He made us pay for ths truck parking. I mean as a customer why should I pay for truck parking. I am paying 75k plus they wanted us to pay these extra charges.
For so many days we had to stay in an empty house and my baby had to sleep on the ground due to which he got very sick.
On the 23rd our things were taken from Noida and we received it on the 4th of February.
And that too, the people brought it into our house but did not unpack big things like sofa, fridge, cupboards as all packers and movers do and also the owner told us that they will unpack the big things. They did not but took extra money from us.
Now every box was opened when we received it. Bags were changed, means some kitchen utensils were transferred to a white plastic sack.
The small fridge was broken inside.
The mirrow attached to the cupboard was smashed.
55 inch television was broken
The big fridge has a very bad dent on it.
Cupboard was damaged.
Many things were stolen.
Art piece made by my husband was broken.
There were many utensils out of the box just thrown inside a wooden frame which we have.
We had an iron clothes rack that they spoilt very badly. It was bent terribly.
Suitcase was broken.
All utensils were black. It was probably taken out as all the boxes were opened.
The sofa leg came out.
The plastic clothes drying rack was bent.
Many glass utensils were broken.
I asked the owner for the insurance papers as insurance was done he said and also took money from us for the insurance. He said he will send the papers but till now he has not sent anything and he does not answer our calls anymore. We came to know this was a big fraud.
We need the insurance done and I want to make a case on Harish for harassing me and my mother and because of him my baby was sick. We were mentally disturbed because of this person Harish.
I have attached the receipt and some damaged products. And I have also attached the white plastic sack into which some utensils were transferred but this sack is not ours. They have opened our bags and misplaced things and changed the bag. As I also informed above, some things have been robbed. It did not even come. It is very disturbing for us.
