Amex — Unauthorized charge to Amex Credit card

I received my Amex monthly statement for the period May 13-June 12, 2017 yesterday and found a charge on my statement made to Amazon Mktplace PMTS on 5/11/17 and posted on 5/13/17 in the amount of $110.54..

This was a surprise because I never did any purchase from Amazon this year, not on that date. I am not aware of that charge.

I called AMEX and they advice that I file a dispute and at the same time contact the vendor to see if we can settle the matter. Thus this communication.
