We have given 10-month rent as Initial deposit for Apartment rental, stayed for about 1.5 years, and vacated after giving 2-month notice as per the agreement. He had told us not to pay the last month rent as he will have to return less amount. He used to check monthly payments and call us when he used to get confused about missing a payment, when in fact we have never missed any payments. When it comes to maintenance, he never bothered to help for months and tenants had to take care of repairs even though he has shown several thousands towards monthly building maintenance in the agreement, he never gave us the parking spot that was promised for each apartment. Water quality is so bad we lost hair and hair turned white. We have given proof of Bank transactions for all the monthly rental payments. After vacating, he kept on postponing and returned only 6-months rent deposit after 3 months. He still needs to return 3-months rent from the Initial deposit. Now he is declining to talk and take phone calls, and not giving any explanations why 3-months rent is not returned even after 4 months have passed since we vacated.
