I booked a family trip to Andaman with Andaman Tour Travel as a gift to my parents' anniversary. While I was still considering Andaman and other places, I asked for a quote from this travel company. They promised me a complimentary scuba diving service with the package for the four o[censored]s, costing 32000, which is 8000 per head. Though I had quotes from other travel companies costing less than this company, I considered ATT for the worth of the complimentary services being offered. I also told them this is our first family trip and I'm booking it for the water activities. They promised hassle free experience. I followed up regarding the same, more than 5 times. On the last but one day, the driver took us to a Scuba diving center that's partnered with ATT. and they did not allow my parents. I was not told about the age restriction on scuba dive, before payment nor after the payment regardless of me asking multiple times if my parents would be allowed. The travel agent only said that they are in the business for very long and she will make sure my parents will have the experience. The staff at the center were rude and started questioning our sanity for bringing my parents to the dive. I had an argument and left the premises. We went to another Scuba Diving Center where my parents were allowed, but they asked for a fitness certificate. I called up our family doctor and he arranged the fitness certificate as my father has decades of swimming experience and he is fit to date. I ended up paying for all o[censored]s 8000 each, 32000 for diving at a different place. I contacted the travel agent Amreen and she said she cannot arrange the services at the other place nor refund any amount for the same. She kept saying that she has to confirm with their higher ups and the next day, i.e. on the last day, she said she can arrange for a glass bottom boat ride, which was worth 2000. I could not agree to that and I asked her for contact information of her higher ups. She never took calls nor replied, giving any sort of information to approach the manager. It's been four months. I keep trying to reach them every now and then from my numbers and also different numbers. There was never a response.
