Complaint against Animal Hospital, Tis Hazari medical staff and the doctors on duty as my pet dog has died yesterday because of their negligence. My female pet dog Jimmy died on 08 November 2023 at 2.01 PM at Tis Hazari Hospital as she was suffering from severe pyometra and we had brought her to the hospital at 10 AM in order to do a surgery.
The doctor who was present at that time didn't bother to even see our pet even after we had shown him the blood test and ultrasound reports and simply asked us to wait for the only surgeon (Dr. R. Saravanan) who was about to come in the next shift. Since my pet's respiration got worse, I asked him to do a check and only then he came out of his cabin and prescribed an injection and saline. When the surgeon came, I showed him the test reports and requested to operate my pet as shed had been crying in pain since the night before yesterday. Firstly, that doctor was least bothered about an emergency case and then he asked to check for my pet's temperature and then told us to wait until the saline treatment is completed which I told him that had already been completed.
After that, he prescribed is to buy some medicines from outside which we brought right away. Then, one of the medical staffs named Sunny told us to wait for some time. After waiting till 12 PM, we asked Sunny about the next treatment and he told us to wait until 2 PM. My pet kept on crying in pain and she died at 2.01 PM.
Nobody even bothered to check on her and no action was taken to treat a medical emergency on priority. The doctor simply kept on checking the other animals instead of treat an animal going through severe pain.
