Anitha — Why street dogs are not returned after vaccination or sterilization...

Dear GHMC

I live at Brahman Basthi, Warasiguda, Secunderabad. Last week, the stray animals catcher van has come to my area and picked some dogs and left. As per 1992 law, they should be returned after vaccination and sterilization.

I am living in this area since years, there was no case of dog bite nor the dogs were sick with rabies...then why are they not returned...

Infact, the dogs guard the street during nights...many times they help...they are generally quite and calm...never chased anybody...

Please return the dogs after vaccination...they are also part of this society...
